The Human Trafficking Foundation has made its primary aim communicating to policy makers and to the lead statutory agencies a greater understanding of the rapidly changing realities of human trafficking, as witnessed by the voluntary sector agencies tackling issues on the ground. Our purpose in so doing will be not only to inform and shape future policy, but equally to ensure existing policy is effectively enforced.

We recognise that without wider public understanding of the issues our collective success in combating trafficking will be restricted. Our secondary aim, working closely with other voluntary agencies in the field, will therefore be to address the pressing need to increase public awareness of trafficking in its many forms.
