Getting accurate and comprehensive data that reflects the true scope and scale of Trafficking within the UK is difficult to say the least. It is for this reason that the APPG is calling for a Watchdog. 

The UK Trafficking Map is based on newspaper reports of Trafficking offences or raids.

The Trade by Sector graph is an educated estimate - in so far as there is such a thing.

By definition this map is not exhaustive. But it may help to dispel some of the misconceptions about Human Trafficking in the United Kingdom and helps to illustrate the spread of Trafficking throughout the UK.
